T4Bi’s three managing partners employ a staff of approximately forty software professionals. In addition, T4Bi has business alliances with consultants specialising in other business disciplines, including communication, change management and financial management, as well as technical domains, including GIS/Spatial, design and branding, and portal and document management. These inter-disciplinary teams allow us to meet the specific needs of our clients. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, T4Bi has provided solutions tailored to a broad range of clients throughout Canada, the United States and Europe, who encompass a cross-section of public and private sector organizations.  Our clients include all levels of Government, the private sector (Multiple Listing Services/Real Estate, Health Insurance, Retail & Transportation) as well as NGO/Public Health and other Non-Profits. A thorough knowledge of business practices and government policies enables T4Bi consultants to eliminate potential bottlenecks and to expedite project implementation. T4Bi also has a close working relationship with major hardware and software vendors and is able to provide added value through these relationships.  T4Bi is an Oracle and a Microsoft Business Partner and has developed mission-critical solutions using both open-source (Java) application frameworks and Microsoft’s .NET framework.

T4Bi’s objective is to ensure a productive, effective and collaborative relationship with our clients and partners, to ensure that project requirements are appropriately captured and verified, goals and expectations are understood, activities are coordinated, and progress and issues are communicated, throughout the life of the project. Effective coordination and communication starts with the T4Bi project resources, as individuals and as a team, and extends to the customer’s project resources and stakeholders; this is a simple but fundamental success criterion that we emphasize on all of our projects. We foster collaborative teamwork through informal and formal methods; teams meet on a regular basis to review status and issues and to share knowledge. Peer reviews are scheduled to improve quality (and enforce standards) and also to communicate progress. T4Bi uses Jira (for project management as well as issue and bug tracking) and each project is assigned a Project Wiki for issue management and collaboration. To provide project oversight an Account Manager is assigned to each client engagement and meets with the client to review contract performance and to facilitate remedies and ensure client satisfaction. T4Bi also adheres tightly to industry standards and methodologies. T4Bi follows ISO/IEC 12207, an international standard for software life cycle processes.

We measure our success through sustainable growth while continuing to earn business from our existing customers and their direct referrals. We typically generate more than 75% of our annual revenues from repeat business from existing customers. Our current customers average over four years of service with T4Bi, with several going back to our first year of business (in June 2000).

We have a broad pool of specialized consulting resources that we can draw on depending on the client engagement. We also have established relationships with Oracle Corporation and Microsoft Corporation. In addition we have some of the best enabling development technology available, and a suite of pre-built business components to go with it.
